Jina is a doctoral candidate in Curriculum and Instruction specializing in Mathematics Education at Florida International University (FIU). Her background in Cell and Molecular Biology, as well as Statistics lead her to take an interest in STEM teaching. As a part of her role as a graduate assistant at FIU, she has assisted in teaching as well as led courses for future mathematics and science teachers.  

As her role as a research assistant, Jina has been working for Project Pathways since the inception and was involved in recruitment, data collection, and dissemination.
