Project Pathways proposed a paper presentation Fostering Executive
Function and Stress-Regulation to Enhance Students’ Behavioral and
Academic Competence to Teacher Education Division (TED)
conference. This was presented in Long Beach, California in October
of 2023. TED is committed to mutual respect and inclusion of all
individuals without bias based on differences of any kind and is
committed to efforts that build dignity, fairness, and equity in
teacher education preparation programs for faculty and teacher
candidates.
Project Pathways proposed a paper presentation Perceived Stress,
Stress-Regulation, and Executive Function: Implications for Middle
Schoolers’ School Achievement to the American Educational
Research Association (AERA). This paper was accepted and will
be presented April of 2024 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. AERA, a
national research society, strives to advance knowledge about
education, to encourage scholarly inquiry related to education, and
to promote the use of research to improve education and serve the
public good. The American Educational Research Association (AERA) is concerned with improving the educational process by encouraging scholarly inquiry related to education and evaluation and by promoting the dissemination and practical application of research results.


CEC- Project Pathways proposed a paper presentation Executive
Function and Stress-Regulation: Implications for Adolescents' School
Achievement to the Council of Exceptional Children (CEC). This
paper was accepted and will be presented March of 2024 in San
Antonio, Texas. CEC is the largest international professional
organization dedicated to improving the success of children and youth with disabilities and/or gifts and talents. CEC advocates for
appropriate governmental policies, sets professional standards,
provides professional development, and helps professionals obtain
conditions and resources necessary for effective professional
practice. CEC is known as THE source for information, resources, and
professional development for special educators.
SPR- Project Pathways proposed an individual paper Student Executive Function Development and School-Based Stressors: A Systematic Review of the Literature to the Society for Prevention
Research. The Society for Prevention Research is an international, multi-disciplinary organization dedicated to advancing scientific investigation about how to prevent negative outcomes and foster well-being for individuals, families, and communities. We also seek to ensure this knowledge promotes a healthy and equitable society through the use of research-informed and socially just programs, practices, and policies.
